Busy!!!!!
Unfortunately ive had zero opportunities to fish lately, as always december is a very busy month work-wise and i wont be getting out till boxing day! SO, the rod review will have to wait till then, even though ive got a sexy new rod for x-mas. Hopefully my next trip is a winner because this fishing drought is driving me nuts!

Just noticed your comment on my own blog hence my visit.
I'm based in Cumbernauld too and haven't been out much but think I'll get the spinning rod out and head down too a wee local perch water for an hour or so this afternoon.
Will have a further read at your blog later.
It turned out to be a great day for some fishing, whereabouts are you heading for the perch? one of the quarries? I did quite a lot of flyfishing for them this past summer, brilliant wee creatures.
I hope you enjoy the blog, quite a mixed bag, a lot of flyfishing for trout and various coarse fish, and a bit of deadbait pike action from my mate, enjoy.

thannks very much simon, ive greatly enjoyed reading your blog every other day, its nice to read stuff thats written with the same passion as i have for fishing, especially for pike on the fly.
